6G Finland

6G Finland is the national network coordinating the country's 6G research, industry, and policy efforts. The design relationship spans its web presence at 6gfinland.fi and the publications that carry its strategy out to research bodies, ministries, and the wider European 6G community.

The flagship publication, “Finland's Next Step Toward the 6G Era,” had to hold its authority with two very different audiences: policymakers who needed clarity and overview, and engineers who needed density and precision. A strict typographic grid organises the technical content into navigable sections, while atmospheric visual elements drawn from the network's own topology diagrams give the design internal coherence rather than decoration imposed from outside. The same system carries across its Finnish-language edition and the later “6G in Resilience” report.

Every publication is prepared as a print-ready PDF from the start, so the same file works on screen for policy briefings and on paper when a physical copy is needed.
